What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can coach and support learners with disabilities—combining individualized academic/behavioral guidance with job readiness, close collaboration with ESE teams, and a safe, positive environment that values measurable progress.

I’m an experienced paraprofessional with 20+ years supporting students in daycare, elementary, middle, and high school settings. I focus on fostering positive learning environments and providing individualized academic and behavioral support so students can succeed.

In my current role as a Job Coach for Flagler County Schools’ TRIAL Program, I help students with disabilities locate jobs and receive training for successful integration into the work environment. I conduct introductory meetings and interviews, assess performance, document progress, and communicate with teachers, employers, and parents to support real outcomes.

I also collaborate with ESE teachers and Transition Coordinators to fulfill employment goals, including participating in IEP meetings and helping develop vocational training programs that match community jobs. I provide transportation and on-the-job-site training, and my work often requires flexibility for extended hours and physical ability for moderate to heavy work.

Previously, as a Rise Up Paraprofessional, I developed individualized learning plans for 15+ students weekly and tracked attendance and progress using Skyward to guide intervention planning. Earlier experience in ESE behavioral settings included small-group and individual instruction, behavioral support for students in EBD/ESE programs (including ASD), and hands-on instructional and communication supports.
