I am a compassionate and resilient paraprofessional with over three years of experience in mental health support and crisis de-escalation. My journey has been dedicated to providing empathetic communication and behavioral redirection to youth in high-stress environments, including therapeutic school settings and residential facilities. I pride myself on my ability to build trust-based relationships with students through consistency, compassion, and clear boundaries.

In my current role as a Paraprofessional at Public School District-Topton, I provide one-on-one and small group emotional and academic support to students with diverse behavioral, cognitive, and emotional needs. I collaborate closely with teachers and counselors to implement IEP and behavior intervention plans, ensuring that each student receives the tailored support they require. My previous experience as Mental Health Support Staff at KidsPeace Residential Treatment Facility has equipped me with the skills to assist in crisis management and emotional regulation techniques, maintaining a trauma-informed approach throughout.
