What I'm looking for

I am seeking teaching and research roles in higher education that combine classroom instruction, curriculum development, and computational chemistry research within a collaborative, student-centered department that supports professional growth.

I am a chemistry educator and researcher with an M.S. in Chemistry who teaches general chemistry lectures and labs as an adjunct faculty member while tutoring at the RSCC Learning Center. I design and edit course materials, grade assignments, and prepare laboratories to support student success.

My master's research focused on virtual screening of Hamigeromycin B derivatives in JNK3, EGFR, and Hsp90, work I presented at the American Chemical Society and the Tennessee Academy of Science. I have hands-on experience in computational docking and scientific communication through posters and oral presentations.

I hold Google Certified Educator Level 1 and Microsoft Certified Educator certifications and bring strengths in computational chemistry software, Linux-based tools, laboratory techniques, D2L, and explicit/direct instruction. I am committed to student-centered teaching and continuing research that bridges computational methods with practical lab work.
