I’m a Senior Front-End Software Engineer with 9+ years of experience building and leading modern React applications used by millions of users. I focus on modernizing legacy platforms while improving performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

Most recently, I rewrote a large-scale, customer-facing eCommerce platform from legacy PHP templates to a modern React-based Remix architecture. I took ownership of major frontend features and architectural areas, introducing modular component design, documentation, and automated test coverage with React Testing Library, while improving load times through lazy loading, route-based code splitting, and request batching. I also implemented full internationalization (i18n) and supported progressive migration behind feature flags to preserve critical legacy routes.

Before that, I designed and implemented core features for Reebee’s web platform using React/Next.js, working on accessibility to help users with disabilities seamlessly access the platform. I built internal tools and collaborated with backend and API engineers to improve the flyer viewing experience and add personalized functionality, while contributing through design, code reviews, and interviews. Earlier in my career at Andela, I helped deliver an internal platform, contributed to open-source libraries, rewrote backend systems from monolith to microservices with Node.js, and mentored junior engineers—then applied fullstack work for client projects using primarily React and Ruby on Rails.
