What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can teach physics with hands-on, project-based learning and help students succeed through strong instruction and well-run learning operations, including mentoring teams and improving virtual or in-person learning experiences.

I’m a Physics Teacher who builds physics contraptions to demonstrate real-world concepts and creates engaging lessons that push critical thinking and connect new ideas to prior knowledge. I’ve implemented physics based projects like a water-bottle rocket and egg drop, and even helped create an instrument to show how broadly applicable the learning can be.

Beyond the classroom, I led instruction and operations at Mathnasium, growing from Lead Instructor into Center Director, including training students, staff, and clientele on the platform and providing customer support. I also led the migration of 500+ students from physical tutoring sessions to virtual sessions, helped decentralize virtual centers back to physical locations, and performed hiring and firing duties while working to regain enrollment momentum after lockdowns.

I also bring research experience from testing Lifestraw purification values and evaluating BiSCCo crystal shapes using WolframAlpha to graph waveforms and maximize voltage peaks.

BiSCCo Crystal Geometry

UCF

Jan 2015 - Present (11 years 6 months)

Tested different BiSCCo crystal shapes and orientations to locate and maximize voltage peaks for battery-related performance. Used WolframAlpha to graph waveforms and optimize the relationship between crystal shape and voltage peak values.
