What I'm looking for
I am a scientist and educator, with a Ph.D. in Physics, focused on Particle Beams, Accelerators, and Coherent Sources of Radiation. My academic journey has equipped me both with a robust understanding of theory, as well as an extensive practical experience with technical aspects of physics and engineering, which I have successfully translated into teaching.
I have taught a wide range of subjects, including Physical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, and advanced mathematics, to students from various educational backgrounds.
Additionally, I am fluent in several foreign languages. Altogether, I speak, read, and write in: English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and German.
Throughout my professional career, I have not only focused on teaching but also engaged in significant research projects, including the Gyroklystron Project at the University of Maryland, and D0 Collaboration at Fermilab. My experience in training and supervising students has honed my leadership skills, allowing me to foster a collaborative learning environment. I am passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and ensuring they grasp complex concepts through innovative teaching methods.
