Matheri Pablo

I'm leading biological and genomic research projects at Kenya Medical Research Institute, applying bioinformatics methods to public health and biomedical research.

Previously, at the International Livestock Research Institute, I performed genomic and transcriptomic data analysis, built workflows in Python and R, and supported collaborative international research programs.

My work combines a PhD in Biological Sciences with an MSc in Bioinformatics and a foundation in Information Technology. I analyze large-scale biological datasets, conduct statistical analysis and visualization, and communicate findings through reports, grant proposals, and publications.

Earlier at Safaricom PLC, I managed databases and information systems, supported network administration, and helped deploy and maintain IT infrastructure. I also supervise graduate researchers and research assistants.
