I am seeking a role that offers opportunities for professional growth and challenges in legal practice.

My name is Mataiasi Ragigia, and I am a dedicated legal practitioner based in Fiji. I graduated with my Bachelor of Laws in March 2023 and obtained my Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in July 2023. Shortly after, I was admitted to the High Court of Fiji as a Legal Practitioner in September 2023. My academic background, combined with hands-on experience through various internships, has equipped me with a solid foundation in legal principles and practices.

Currently, I serve as a Solicitor at Haniff Tuitoga Lawyers, where I manage criminal law litigation cases and successfully prosecute and defend debt recovery claims. My role involves conducting in-depth legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing strategic legal advice to clients. I have also represented clients in personal injury litigation and prepared cases for the Court of Appeal. My previous internships, including my time at the International Labour Organization, have further honed my skills in legal research and client communication, allowing me to effectively navigate complex legal issues.
