I work between two worlds: a fast-moving AI software company and Nigeria’s electricity regulator.

From March 2023 to July 2026 I was Founder’s Associate at Mentalyc, a US AI scribe software company for therapists, working remotely as right hand to the CEO. I worked across product, growth, SEO, automation, legal and compliance, finance and operations while the team grew from about 4 to 25+ people. I set up and ran workflows in n8n, Make and Zapier, wrote Python scripts for recurring work, and tracked results in weekly dashboards.

Today I am Deputy Manager (Renewable Energy) in the Research and Data Analytics Division of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). I co-authored Nigeria’s Mini Grid Regulation, now covering more than 450 communities and over 60 MW of distributed capacity, and co-authored the Net-Billing Regulations 2026. I review developers’ mini-grid tariff submissions, brief the Commission on what they show, and specified and delivered the Mini Grid application portals.

Before that I led project delivery and operations at Enbridge Engineering and BluHoldings. I am a COREN-registered electrical engineer with a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering and an M.Eng in Engineering Management from Ahmadu Bello University.

What I am looking for: remote operations, founder’s-office and technical-operations roles, and expert evaluation work where careful analysis and clear writing matter. I am based in Abuja (WAT, UTC+1).
