Mediated student, parent, and staff conflict using restorative conversations for a caseload of 300 students. Conducted suicide assessments, safety/threat assessments, and developed support plans, and taught small-group counseling lessons on executive functioning, coping with stress, and empowerment.

Provided one-on-one counseling to a caseload of 250 at-risk students, supporting mental health, academics, and post-secondary goals. Completed suicide/threat assessments and cps reports, created grade 9–12 SEL and academic lesson plans with pre/post data, and tracked student progress using Infinite Campus, Naviance, and Google Suite.

Met one-on-one with undergraduates with disabilities through the Learning Effectiveness Program to support academic progress and self-advocacy. Built assignment calendars, set up tutoring, coordinated check-ins, and connected students with campus resources including Health and Counseling and Disability Services.

Counseled students one-on-one on school credits, teacher concerns, bullying/social-emotional needs, and post-high school plans, including suicide assessments. Delivered lessons on executive functioning, class registration, middle school transition to high school, and social-emotional learning topics.

Directed three 100+ voice co-ed choirs and led two competitive show choirs with 70+ members, including a 5-person instrument combo. Managed show choir budgets and logistics (costumes, props, travel, instrumentalists, choreographers, and musical arrangements), and received awards for vocal performance outcomes.

Directed a 30-person choir from four different schools for the 2018 Zach Johnson Foundation Gala, which raised over $1 million. Taught small groups of 6–10 students from low-income schools skills in math and reading and supported cross-school performance preparation.

Solely rehearsed and conducted Women’s Choir for an IHSMA large group contest and evaluated singers in music theory and solfege. Assisted and supervised a 90-voice choir at the Dorian Music Festival at Luther College.

Completed a Master of Arts in Education with School Counselor certification for all grades in May 2023. Included an internship at Denver North High School through the RAMP certified program.

Completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with teaching certification for Music K–8 and Music 5–12 in May 2016.

Activities and societies: Performed lead roles in Sondheim on Sondheim and Sour Angelica; Undergraduate Staff (Hawkeye Marching Band - Trombone); Social Chair, Sigma Alpha Iota.
