What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can teach music and integrate the arts with strong mentorship and collaboration. I want to continue leading with equity-focused practices, supporting student growth, and partnering across departments to build inclusive learning.

I’m a K-12 General Music Teacher and Adjunct Instructor who builds engaging learning through arts integration, strong classroom routines, and meaningful cultural connections. In my current work, I teach K-5 General Music while also leading seasonal performances (music/dance/drama) and supporting students across regular and alternative education settings.

Alongside teaching, I bring leadership and collaboration to every role—serving as a JCPS Mentor Teacher, School JCTA Professional Representative, School Fund for the Arts Grant Coordinator, School Cultural Contact, and a member of the Racial Equity Committee. I’ve also taught at Bellarmine University’s Louisville programs, creating presentations, projects, and lesson plans for Music Methods and helping freshmen develop skills for academics, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, learning habits, and wellness habits.
