I am a UX researcher and research operations lead with 11 years across industry and academia. At Microsoft AI I ran mixed-methods research on generative AI experiences across Copilot, Edge, Bing and MSN, turning user insights into product and design decisions.
At Upwork I built and scaled Research Operations for the Customer Insights & Research team, supporting up to 13 researchers and more than 500 studies. That meant participant recruitment and panel quality, the research tooling stack, incentives and vendor management, and an intake process that turned scattered requests into prioritised studies. Earlier I taught Human-Computer Interaction at Universidad Icesi for seven years, and led UX design and research for Tuya's in-house digital wallet.
Outside of that I build AI agents, which is the best way I have found to keep my understanding of these products honest. It is easier to research an assistant once you have had to make one behave. I work in English and Spanish, speak conversational German, and I am open to roles in research or research operations, remote or relocating.
