Quantum Technologies Ph.D | Physics MSc | Data scientist
What I'm looking for
I am a physicist specialized in quantum technologies, having obtained my Ph.D. in Quantum Technologies from the Universities of Naples and Camerino, Italy. My research has focused on quantum statistical mechanics, computational physics, machine learning, and complex systems.
During my doctoral studies, I worked on the simulation of quantum many-body systems relevant for the development and benchmarking of emerging quantum computing platforms, including quantum annealers and neutral-atom quantum computers, collaborating with PASQAL. My work combined advanced numerical methods, neural-network-based approaches, and quantum Monte Carlo techniques to investigate disordered quantum systems, spin glasses, and Rydberg-atom platforms.
I also spent a research period at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, where I further developed my interests in theoretical and computational physics.
Alongside research, I gained extensive teaching experience as a teaching assistant in undergraduate physics courses, including General Physics, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Dynamics.
I currently work as a Quantum and Data Scientist, applying methods from physics, artificial intelligence, and data science to complex technological and industrial problems.
