What I'm looking for

I am looking for research- or product-focused roles applying Bayesian and ML methods to biological data, collaborative teams, and opportunities to publish and mentor.

I am a PhD-trained data scientist with deep expertise in Bayesian hierarchical modelling, probabilistic inference and single-cell multi-omic analysis. My work combines strong computational skills with a focus on interpretable models for biological data.

During my PhD I led and co-authored multiple projects improving RNA velocity estimation and creating Bayesian interpretable models for single-cell data, producing peer-reviewed and preprint publications. I have hands-on experience building models in Python using PyTorch, TensorFlow and probabilistic tools such as NumPyro.

I teach and present research, having contributed lecture material for Bayesian Inference courses and given conference talks and satellite workshop presentations. I am experienced with high-performance computing environments and large-scale bioinformatics workflows (Seurat objects, Slurm clusters).

I seek roles where I can apply probabilistic modelling, machine learning and computational biology to real-world biological problems while continuing collaborative research and developing reproducible, interpretable tools.
