What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a fully remote cybersecurity role in threat detection, incident response, or vulnerability management. I bring 16+ years in IT and security, including 12 years securing a 500+ endpoint manufacturing environment and containing two ransomware incidents with zero data loss. I want hands-on SIEM and EDR work and room to keep growing (currently pursuing Security+).

At Rocknel Fastener, I led IT and cybersecurity for a two-site manufacturing environment supporting 200 users and more than 500 endpoints. I contained both ransomware incidents encountered during my tenure with zero data loss and full restoration.

I investigate alerts across Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Gurucul SIEM and UEBA, Check Point Harmony Endpoint, and Huntress Managed EDR. I build KQL correlations and automate reporting, backup verification, and alert enrichment with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

I’ve strengthened zero-trust controls across Microsoft 365 and Azure through MFA, identity hardening, and Privileged Identity Management. I also developed vulnerability testing, security awareness training, and an ISO 27001-aligned cybersecurity program.

I manage a $1M IT budget, lead a team of three, and partner with five departments to deliver technology projects aligned to business goals. Earlier at Grupo Antolin, I administered infrastructure and network security supporting continuous manufacturing operations.
