Led implementation of the AWF/WCK Young Conservation Heroes conservation education project in the Tsavo Landscape, developing education materials and facilitating school-based workshops. Trained 274 teachers and 126 head teachers and organized park visits for 3,000 students and 71 teachers in 2025 to support youth field-based learning.

Trained youth technical working groups (TWGs) on advocacy topics including SRHR, FGM, teenage pregnancies, and adolescent and budget advocacy. Facilitated intergenerational dialogues and trained teachers on school re-entry policy while developing advocacy toolkits and scripted SRHR/FGM TV content.

Managed and implemented programs, supporting project proposal development, grant management, donor relations, and monitoring and evaluation. Trained youth on peacebuilding, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution and supported development of anti-FGM and child protection policy and training materials.

Established and implemented conservation education, training, and cultural programs, supporting the executive director’s program vision and developing program materials. Trained rangers and facilitated community dialogues and grievance/feedback workshops to mitigate conflict and improve site-level governance and equity.

Developed and supported conservation education programs in the Amboseli ecosystem, building partnerships with schools and education stakeholders and preparing and managing field budgets. Facilitated workshops and community dialogues, including human-wildlife conflict complaint management and conflict analysis using a conflict-sensitivity approach.

Trained women leaders on marketplace literacy and customer services, resource mapping, communication, and accounting practices. Delivered trainings on conservation-based consumer production and marketing and produced a training manual translated into Swahili and Maasai.

Supported education literacy assessment programming in Kajiado County, including training schools’ Board of Management on school action planning and learner assessment. Coordinated and facilitated teacher and stakeholder engagement activities and administered training data collection using KoboCollect.

Taught Kiswahili and History for Government Form 1–4 and served as a class teacher for Form Two. Supported the school environment club as a Wildlife Club patron and carried out conservation and park visits for students.

Trained trainers and mentors and supported scholarship students through a mentorship program across the Rift Valley. Developed training manuals and reports, conducted pre- and post-training assessments, and monitored and evaluated training effectiveness.

Pursuing an M.A. in Education Leadership and Policy Studies, applying leadership and policy frameworks to design youth in education community initiatives. Completed coursework including Education in Emergencies, policy analysis and advocacy, and development of policy briefs and a thesis on climate change, FGM, and teenage pregnancies and school retention.

Participated in the 2025 AWF-Wall Policy Fellowship cohort. Developed skills in policy advocacy, understanding biodiversity conservation at global and African levels, and applying conflict-resolution and negotiation concepts in conservation policy contexts.

Completed a school leadership and management training organized by the DAAD German Project through Moi University. Focused on leadership training for heads of schools, teachers, and students.

Earned a Bachelor of Education (Arts) in Teacher Education and Training. Built teaching and school management skills, including writing, reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and community engagement.

Completed the IUCN Academy training on Conflict Sensitivity in Conservation: Principles and Practice. Learned how to integrate conflict sensitivity into conservation programs and coordinate stakeholder engagement while supporting peacebuilding outcomes.

Completed certification training for Site-level Assessment under SAGE (IIED). Covered approaches for inclusive, gender-sensitive data collection, monitoring and evaluation, and solving conflict-related natural resources issues at the landscape level.

Completed certification training in Elephant Research at Amboseli. Strengthened skills in elephant monitoring and human-elephant conflict mitigation through stakeholder engagement and peacebuilding with affected communities.
