What I'm looking for

I seek a community-focused public health role that combines outreach, education, and research with opportunities for program coordination and measurable impact.

I am a dedicated public health and international studies student with hands-on experience in health promotion, community outreach, and research. I maintain a 3.9 GPA, participate in the Honors College, and have received university research and departmental grants.

My campus roles include Health Promotion Peer Educator, Honors College Peer Mentor, Research Assistant, and Peer Navigator, where I deliver presentations, provide one-on-one support, and assist patrons with library services. I have contributed to research projects on healthtech in Cambodia and the impacts of USAID funding cuts.

Off-campus, I serve as a Volunteer Coordinator Intern with the International Rescue Committee and as a Services for Older Refugees intern, managing client case records, conducting outreach, and supporting onboarding and volunteer supervision. I also collaborate with the American Heart Association on advocacy and health education initiatives.

I bring bilingual capabilities (Spanish fluent, French intermediate), certifications in BLS CPR and seizure first aid, and strong technical and organizational skills. I seek roles where I can apply community health education, program coordination, and research to improve public health outcomes.
