What I'm looking for

I seek a role that fosters collaboration and innovation in public health, emphasizing research and community impact.

I am a dedicated public health professional with a Master of Public Health in Global Health Epidemiology from the University of Michigan. My academic journey has been complemented by extensive research and practical experience in various health-related fields, including neuroscience and international relations. I have a strong commitment to addressing public health challenges, particularly those affecting marginalized communities.

Throughout my career, I have held various roles that have honed my skills in research, data analysis, and community engagement. As a Graduate Assistant at the Science Learning Center, I provided structured feedback to over 150 study group facilitators, enhancing instructional quality for more than 1,500 students each term. My internship with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights allowed me to research public health challenges faced by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities, where I drafted public comments and collaborated on equitable technology access policies.

Currently, I am an Epidemiology Intern with Z-CHAD, where I design and conduct interviews assessing dementia awareness in Zambia. My research efforts have led to securing funding through competitive grants and preparing manuscripts for publication. I am passionate about using my skills to improve health outcomes and advocate for equitable healthcare access.
