Built and scaled an AWS EKS-based internal developer platform with Terraform/Terragrunt, Helm, Argo CD, and Backstage.io to enable self-service provisioning for services, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Delivered GPU-enabled EKS clusters and standardized Kubernetes deployment patterns for AI teams, while integrating Okta/Keycloak for secure multi-tenant auth.

Designed highly scalable, PCI DSS-compliant AWS infrastructure for an online banking system, including multi-region, multi-account setup using Terraform/Terragrunt modules. Built GitLab build/deployment pipelines and automated GitLab runner registration, plus implemented Okta SSO integration for centralized user provisioning.

Migrated Azure DevOps pipelines to YAML pipeline-as-code with templates and parameterized environment configurations across multiple regions. Secured and optimized container images by moving from insecure Ubuntu bases to hardened Alpine images, used Snyk vulnerability checks, and deployed KEDA on Kubernetes to scale workloads based on queue/API metrics.

Created build/deployment pipelines and artifacts with GitHub Actions, including automated infrastructure provisioning with Terraform. Built Docker images for microservices on ECS, implemented reusable CI/CD templates, and developed AWS Amplify frontend provisioning with supporting CloudWatch alerts.

Built a multi-service video downloader platform to support medical lip-reading training, including automated downloading, media extraction, and background processing. Implemented a frontend for administrators, backend services for job orchestration, and RabbitMQ-based messaging for worker pipelines.

Provisioned AWS infrastructure from scratch using Terraform, deploying GPU-optimized EKS autoscaling clusters with Helm and private/public multi-AZ networking. Implemented GitLab CI/CD for automated build/test and Helm-based deployments, and set up logging, static assets, and messaging for AI workloads.

Set up AWS logging and ingestion with CloudWatch fluentd, and configured ALB ingress and Route53 health checks with SNS notifications for SMS/email/Slack. Implemented Node.js Lambda functions for Slack notifications and configured MongoDB replication for reliability.

Worked on a German online learning platform, including core domain development and frontend plugin development such as calendars and wizards. Migrated media uploads to AWS S3 and implemented PHP unit and integration tests to support multiple business requirements.

Developed and maintained a Magento 2 multidomain, multilanguage eCommerce platform integrated with a 1C ERP synchronization pipeline. Implemented AWS-hosted infrastructure, Docker containerization, caching (Varnish), and payment system integrations for multiple regions.

Built backend and frontend features for a hotel booking platform, including ERD design and AWS infrastructure provisioning. Implemented Laravel-based services and integrated Google Maps APIs and multi-currency payment flows.

Optimized a high-traffic events blog by improving performance and building plugins/themes, including Elasticsearch and caching integration for faster content delivery. Refactored legacy frontend code by migrating tooling from Gulp to Webpack and improved SEO via rich cards integration.

Completed a Bachelor's degree at the State Engineering University of Armenia from Sep 2010 to Dec 2017.
