I’m an Associate Professor in Applied Microbiology at Ahmed Zabana University (Relizane). My path started with a Licence (2008), Master (2010), and Doctorat (2014) in applied microbiology at Oran 1 University in Algeria.

Over time, I progressed from Assistante professor B (30 Dec 2014–30 Dec 2015) to Associate professor B (30 Dec 2015–14 Jun 2021), and now Associate professor A (14 Jun 2021–Until now). I focus on research that connects microbial knowledge with computational methods to generate actionable results.

My publications highlight antifungal potential and microbial control, especially through lactic acid bacteria and their metabolites, as well as metabolite profiling using synthetically water-removed 1H NMR spectra. I also work extensively on in silico approaches, including 16S rRNA virtual RFLP for lactobacilli discrimination, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics for target and inhibitor evaluation.

I’m also committed to advancing tools and translational ideas, such as RFLP-kenzy (a bioinformatics tool) and multi-epitope vaccine design approaches. Through trainings and leadership in NGS data analysis, molecular docking, and “Artificial intelligence and its applications in biology,” I aim to keep my work rigorous, modern, and collaborative.
