What I'm looking for

I seek a role that allows me to leverage my research expertise while contributing to innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

I am a dedicated computational chemist with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, specializing in computational chemistry. My research has focused on the comparative study of homologous enzymes through classical molecular dynamics simulations, utilizing GROMACS software. This work has provided valuable insights into the relationship between catalytic activity and structural properties of enzymes under varying conditions.

Currently, I serve as a lecturer at Djillali Liabes University, where I teach Structure of Matter and Thermodynamics to undergraduate students. My teaching experience is complemented by my role in supervising graduate students in their research projects. I am passionate about fostering a collaborative learning environment and sharing my expertise in quantum-chemical methods and molecular dynamics simulations.

UB

University of Oran 1, Ahmed Ben Bella

Ph.D., Physical Chemistry, Computational Chemistry option

Conducted a comparative study of homologous enzymes, Endonuclease I, using classical molecular dynamics simulations with Gromacs software. Investigated the effects of temperature and salt on the structural and dynamic properties of these enzymes to understand the relationship between catalytic activity and structural properties in a physiological environment.

UB

University of Oran 1, Ahmed Ben Bella

M.S., Physical Chemistry, Computational Chemistry option

Utilized density functional theory and post-Hartree-Fock methods to analyze the structural and electronic properties of potentially highly stable singlet and triplet diradical molecules. Performed a theoretical design study involving various substitutions of atoms within the diradical skeleton.
