I'm a Professor at Djillali Liabes University, where I teach biology, microbiology, enzymology, dietetics, and food composition. I also lead the Nutrition, Métabolisme et Physiopathologie research team within the Nutrition, Pathology, Agrobiotechnology and Health Laboratory.
My research examines nutritional status, diabetes, obesity, atherosclerosis, lipid ratios, and cardiovascular risk in Algerian populations. I've published research and books on nutrition, epidemiology, diabetes, and atherosclerosis, and serve as Editor-in-Chief of the North African Journal of Food and Nutrition Research.
