Lans Conteh

I am a public health professional with a Master of Public Health and dual undergraduate degrees, experienced in state-level public health roles and applied research. I focus on designing and implementing programs that improve health equity and access.

In my current and prior roles I developed and monitored quality assurance and improvement efforts for maternal and child programs, analyzed contract and grant deliverables, and led the collection and interpretation of Community Insight Survey data to inform regional health strategies. I also conducted nationwide qualitative interviews to investigate insurance-related barriers and supported policy advocacy to address disparities.

I lead and scale community-focused initiatives — negotiating and administering grants, launching an international youth mentorship program, mentoring students, organizing events, and creating outreach materials. My work is driven by measurable impact, collaborative partnerships, and advancing equitable access to care.
