I’m an ACCA-qualified accountant with 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Management Accountant, working across both private and public sectors—from data entry through to management accounts. I’m skilled in dealing with client, group and company accounts, including multi-currency transactions, while staying focused on compliance requirements.

In my current NHS role (Remote), I create and deliver monthly financial reports in line with reporting deadlines and NHS regulatory compliance (SOs, SFIs). I lead budget holder meetings across 8 divisions, drive performance updates through detailed reporting and reconciliation, and support forecasting and annual budget setting by aligning plans with resource and cost pressures. I’ve also led costing service developments and business cases that improve financial sustainability, contributing to a 2023/2024 £9.7m efficiency saving.

Previously as an NHS Payments Officer, I liaised between NHS Shared Business Services, budget holders, and external agencies to ensure accurate and timely payment runs. I supported management accounts with budget holder updates, resolved invoice queries (including investigating potential fraud), and helped drive successful process change during the 2017/2018 migration to NHS SBS, including smooth adoption of new procedures and policies.

I also bring strong training and leadership in practice: I supervise and develop junior finance staff and lead financial training for requisitioners and budget holders on finance systems and compliance. I’m especially interested in investigative and managerial models within finance, and I’m passionate about integrating technology into financial processes—supported by my hands-on work with tools like Oracle, MS Power BI, Qlik, and automation-focused learning.
