At the Federal Housing Finance Agency Office of Inspector General, I lead analysts evaluating FHFA oversight of a Freddie Mac program. I review policy, interview FHFA and Freddie Mac personnel, and analyze data.
I’ve led internal reviews of FHFA programs and its oversight of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Bank System. The reviews resulted in public reports recommending improvements.
In annual internal control reviews, I found a balance error of over $250,000 and determined it was clerical, not accounting-related. The finding led to updated documents and supervisory review guidance.
Previously, as an Inspector at the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General, I evaluated complex programs and led analysis of a survey of over 10,000 employees at four federal law enforcement agencies. I also assessed employee engagement and represented my division on enterprise risk management.
