What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a senior internal audit leadership role where I can build, strengthen, or transform an audit function. I bring experience owning audit methodology, audit planning, co-source programs, and Board, committee, and regulatory reporting, and I want to use that to help an organization raise the quality and impact of its audit work. I really enjoy developing audit teams and leaders.

At American Express, I led internal audit coverage for Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs & Communications, and Enterprise Shared Services. I owned the portfolio’s audit universe and plan, averaging six audits per year.

In Internal Audit Group Professional Practices, I owned audit methodology and annual planning for an audit universe that grew from 275 to 450 entities. I also managed the co-source program and supported regulatory examinations, including remediation of resulting action plans.

I led training and professional development for approximately 400 colleagues and managed a team of up to 10. As Product Owner for the audit system, I led system management and implementation of changes.

Earlier, at TMNA Services, I managed internal audit operations and SOX testing. At KPMG LLP, I worked across audit, national training, and audit curriculum development.
