What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a position where I can use my experience in branding, digital media, and bilingual communication to contribute to meaningful projects. I value creativity, teamwork, and cultural diversity, and I hope to grow while helping connect Japanese and global audiences through thoughtful storytelling and strategic content.

I’m a seasoned marketing professional, entrepreneur, and translator based in Sapporo, Japan. After earning a B.A. in Screenwriting from Nihon University and a B.S. in Business Management from Brooklyn College (City University of New York), I began my career in 2005 as a freelance translator, focusing on English–Japanese business communication.

From 2009 to 2020, I worked as the Marketing Manager at WESS Inc., where I led promotional campaigns for major music events, including the Rising Sun Rock Festival. In 2020, I founded FAVER Inc., a live streaming startup specializing in music and cultural content, and served as CEO until 2023. Most recently, I worked at Outlier as a Japanese AI Trainer, where I contributed to the development of AI models by annotating and evaluating Japanese content for accuracy, clarity, and tone.

My strengths lie in copywriting, business development, and strategic brand management, and I’m fluent in both English and Japanese.
