I've supported students with disabilities across Henry County Public Schools and Martinsville City Public Schools, delivering individualized instruction in academics, functional skills, communication, social skills, and life skills.
For 10 years, I provided high school self-contained instruction for students with intellectual disabilities, autism, visual impairments, multiple disabilities, and traumatic brain injury. I develop IEPs, adaptive curriculum, behavior intervention plans, accommodations, and transition plans grounded in student data and Virginia standards.
I build trusting relationships with students, families, therapists, and school personnel, helping families understand special education rights, community resources, and pathways into adulthood.
