I’m a dedicated, compassionate educator with extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. After working as a public school special education teacher, I switched to homeschooling to better meet students and families where they are.
In my CDC classroom role at Norris Middle School, I developed and implemented Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provided specialized instruction, and collaborated with general education teachers, therapists, and families. I also managed classroom behavior using evidence-based strategies while monitoring progress and documenting educational outcomes.
Earlier, as a special education assistant, I supported students academically, behaviorally, and socially and helped implement IEP accommodations and modifications. Now as a homeschool teacher, I plan and deliver individualized instruction across multiple subject areas, adapting curriculum, assessing progress, and maintaining organized educational records.
