Brittany Phan

Special education teacher and behavior-focused specialist helping learners thrive through individualized curriculum and ABA-informed strategies.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Special Education Teacher focused on creating and implementing instructional practice based on each student’s individual needs. I develop, modify, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborate with all stakeholders, and supervise Teacher Assistants so we can work as a team in the classroom.
Beyond education, I bring a strong human-services background: I’ve worked on abuse and neglect referral/investigations, helped build safety plans with interdisciplinary teams, and supported court case preparation. I’ve also done case management for Medicaid waiver members, provided one-on-one autism support with a focus on social, verbal, and activities of daily living, and completed intake and discharge coordination work in a care setting—bringing structure, documentation, and accountability to every role.
