What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level role where I can support food safety and quality work—performing sampling, sensory or microbial testing, and helping teams follow HACCP/CCPs while learning from experienced QA/QC professionals.

I’m a Food Science and Technology graduate with a strong foundation in food and nutritional science, including food safety and quality, applied chemistry, microbiology, and product development. Through coursework and hands-on experience, I build quality systems mindset around HACCP, CCPs, and consistent sensory and lab testing.

In my ALES mini-internship at Inovata Foods, I gained experience in conducting sensory evaluations and microbial testing, and I collaborated with cross-functional teams across production, R&D, and logistics to implement quality and safety measures throughout the supply chain. I also interacted with regulatory authorities and successfully navigated regulatory inspections.

At Aliya Foods, I job-shadowed a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technician while learning line checks, raw material and finished product inspection, and sampling across processing stages. I also bring leadership and communication strength from mentoring and training as a Tim Hortons Supervisor, paired with self-starter problem solving, strong organization, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team.
