What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can support clients with trauma-informed case management, connect people to resources, and ensure timely access to care. I want a team that values confidentiality, strong documentation, and interprofessional collaboration.

I’m a social work graduate student in DP Mental Health and Substance Abuse, and I bring hands-on experience supporting people through complex, high-stakes situations—truancy, homelessness, and barriers to healthcare access.

In my Garland Independent School District Student Services internship, I provided case management and family engagement to address chronic truancy, using home visits, court documentation, and advocacy grounded in family-centered, trauma-informed practices. I also conducted crisis intervention outreach, needs assessments, and eligibility screenings for McKinney-Vento students to help ensure educational stability and supportive services.

Across remote and healthcare roles, I’ve specialized in resolving coverage and access issues—navigating payer portals, interpreting Explanation of Benefits, reviewing medical records, and supporting prior authorizations, appeals, and claims. In case management and utilization review work, I managed high-volume intake and coordination, including 80+ weekly follow-ups and care coordination across 15+ physician offices.

I’m consistently motivated by confidentiality, accurate documentation, and equitable access. Whether I’m coordinating wraparound services, streamlining workflows for timely turnaround, or connecting people to resources, I focus on practical, ethical solutions—and I communicate with empathy and clarity to move cases forward.
