What I'm looking for

I am seeking a training contract or entry-level accounting role where I can apply auditing and accounting coursework, gain practical industry experience, and develop toward qualification as a chartered accountant in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

I am a third-year Bachelor of Accounting Science student at the University of the Witwatersrand, focused on becoming a qualified chartered accountant. I have classroom training in Financial Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Management Accounting, Finance, and Mercantile Law, and I pair academic knowledge with practical volunteer and part-time experience.

Through roles in media, retail merchandising, and student fellowship leadership, I have developed strong analytical, communication, time-management, and teamwork skills. I have led donation drives, organized events, performed stock control tasks, and contributed to auditing activities that involved reviewing financial records and matching supporting documents.

I am enthusiastic about securing a training contract to apply my auditing and accounting skills in a professional environment, build industry experience, and continue pursuing excellence—evidenced by membership in the Golden Key Society and recognition in the EY Diamond Project.
