What I'm looking for

I'm looking to advance human rights, just peace, and accountable public policy through strategic leadership, advocacy, research, relationship building, and capacity development.

I founded and lead Just Peace Advocates, a Canadian independent human rights organization advancing accountability to international human rights and humanitarian law for Palestinian rights. I also lead Palestine Just Trade, providing market research and services to facilitate just trade of Palestinian products in Canada.

Across 30+ years in the Ontario Public Service, I led corporate policy, programs, service transformation, emergency management, and complex federal-provincial initiatives. I built a farm income assistance program that delivered over $300 million in aid to almost 20,000 Ontario farmers, led $20 million in eastern Ontario ice-storm recovery programming, and helped modernize ministry-wide policy, service, and information management.

My work is grounded in relationship building, creative problem-solving, and justice. As a former United Church ordained minister, spiritual director, and human rights monitor in the West Bank, I bring advocacy, accompaniment, mediation, and thoughtful leadership through change.

My philosophy to spiritual direction is being present and awake to where the spirit is moving. It is about paying attention to our resistance not pushing it away. In our resistance, we can find the key messages that the universe keeps crying out to us.

Spiritual direction taps into the synergy available in the unconscious parts of our lives. It is about healing and reconciliation, not continuo
