Kana Ota

I recently completed an MSc in Human Security at Aarhus University, where I focused on project management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability approaches across environmental security and ESG. My academic work included designing and executing a mixed-methods thesis on sexual consent, demonstrating strong ethical standards and timely delivery.

In professional roles, I coordinated international conferences and workshops, managed human resource coordination and budget reports, also supported recruitment and ATS processes. I facilitated collaborations with researchers and university partners, and gathered funding intelligence to strengthen program activities.

I prioritize a people-centric approach, ensuring clear communication and inclusive practices that help teams overcome blockers and improve participant experience. I adapt work to diverse audiences—whether teaching Japanese to students with varying proficiencies or managing multicultural project stakeholders.

I bring practical skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, familiarity with online collaboration tools and R for statistics, and a commitment to creating supportive, well-organized programs that deliver measurable impact.
