At Efiche, I lead end-to-end development of a hospital EMR module for an interoperable health record platform serving 130+ facilities. I shape clinical workflows with nurses and build with Next.js, Laravel, FastAPI, and SQL.
For Horizon 1000, a national AI for healthcare programme run with OpenAI and Rwanda's Ministry of Health, I build backend services and integrations for a voice assistant that supports Kinyarwanda, French, and English. I also built its RAG retrieval layer, grounding answers in clinical protocols and national guidelines.
At Efiche, I connected the platform to Rwanda's HMIS and HIE, and built an edge computing layer that keeps rural health posts running offline. It caches reads and replays queued writes when connectivity returns.
Previously, at DevInterface I built services and products across payments, betting, logging, and banking, including a banking assistant whose support tickets dropped 30%. At VimaVirtual Market, I set backend direction and introduced NestJS microservices; at Exuus, I built a Django data platform for the National Bank of Rwanda and worked across Save products serving over 100,000 users.
