Aspiring clinical psychologist passionate about mental health and wellness.
What I'm looking for
I am an empathetic aspiring clinical psychologist currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. With a solid foundation in psychology and direct experience supporting students with mental health needs, I am dedicated to promoting mental wellness through culturally competent, ethical, and evidence-based practices. My academic journey at Norfolk State University has equipped me with the skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in mental health services and crisis intervention.
During my practicum at the Office of Accessibility Services, I assisted students with various psychological conditions, ensuring they received the academic accommodations they needed. My role as a mentor at the Robert C. Nusbaum Honors College allowed me to guide first-year students through their transition to college, providing them with essential resources for managing stress and mental health. As President of the Psychology Club, I organized events that fostered a supportive environment for students pursuing careers in psychology, enhancing engagement and awareness around mental health topics.
