What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to support student mental health and engage in meaningful research while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

I am a dedicated and passionate aspiring school psychologist currently pursuing my M.A. and Ed.S. in School Psychology at the University of Memphis. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to understanding psychological principles and their application in educational settings. I have maintained a GPA of 3.7 while actively participating in the Psychology Honors Program, where I conducted an honors thesis on anxiety-like behaviors.

My research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Lester’s Behavioral Neuroscience Lab has equipped me with valuable skills in animal behavioral testing and data analysis using Ethovision and SPSS. I have co-authored a graduate abstract and presented my findings at multiple conferences, showcasing my ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Additionally, my role as a Crisis Counselor has honed my crisis intervention skills, allowing me to support individuals in distress with empathy and professionalism.

Beyond academics, I have taken on leadership roles, such as serving as President of Psi Chi, where I lead initiatives to enhance student engagement and collaboration. I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to a dynamic team focused on improving student mental health and well-being.
