Justin Horry
@justinhorry
I improve human services quality, compliance, and performance through data.
What I'm looking for
I am a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Quality Assurance (QA) professional with 10+ years of experience across the Human Services and nonprofit sector. My career has included Quality Assurance, CQI, compliance, case management, service coordination, program operations, administration, supervision, youth services, and direct-service environments.
My experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, youth, families, and vulnerable populations has given me a strong understanding of the operational realities behind quality, compliance, and service delivery.
Today, my primary focus is Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement helping organizations identify performance gaps, strengthen documentation and compliance, analyze trends, develop meaningful KPIs, and translate findings into sustainable improvements.
My areas of expertise include:
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Quality Improvement
• Compliance Monitoring & Audit Readiness
• Chart & Documentation Auditing
• KPI Development & Performance Analytics
• Data Analysis & Trend Identification
• Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action
• SOP, Policy & Process Improvement
• Executive Reporting & Data Visualization
• Quality Monitoring & Risk Identification
I approach quality as more than a compliance requirement. Effective QA should give leadership the information needed to understand what is happening, why it is happening, where the risk exists, and what should happen next.
My professional background is complemented by a Bachelor's degree in English Professional Writing & Business Practice (Honors), giving me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, professional communication, documentation, and translating complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for identifying opportunities for improvement, strengthening processes, analyzing performance, and helping teams turn organizational expectations into measurable results.
I am particularly interested in the intersection of quality, data, compliance, operations, & organizational performance, helping Human Services organizations move from reactive problem-solving toward proactive, sustainable improvement.
Quality isn't simply about finding what went wrong. It's about understanding why, improving the system, & creating sustainable performance.
