Juan Hernández

I started as a UX designer and developer at a digital marketing agency in Monterrey, building websites and a cross-platform app. That’s where I learned how a design turns into something people actually use.

Since then I’ve spent 5+ years designing products for companies like CEMEX, Coppel, OXXO and Vitro: dashboards shaped by interviews with plant teams in Spain and Germany, a mobile purchase flow tested with real users, and a design system I also helped build in Angular. For me, design closes the gap between a person and a real need. If someone can use a product without any trouble, it worked.

Outside work, I’m drawn to psychology and philosophy, and they shape how I think about why people do what they do. I’m based in Monterrey, ready to relocate to Mexico City, and open to remote work.
