UX Research Lead at Freelance, advising on AI-powered research and prototypes after leading Microsoft research on Azure developer tools.

Spain
Message

At Freelance, I consult and coach on strategic UX leadership, mixed-methods research, and using AI for research and high-fidelity prototype development. I also support researchers moving from academic to industry research.

At Microsoft, I led a team of researchers focused on developer experiences. I researched Azure developer tools and services, including AI integrations, and shared findings with senior leadership.

My Microsoft work included research on .NET and the redesign of its website, as well as concept validation for Blazor. That research informed product development and prioritization and helped the team refine its marketing message.

At Queen's University’s Human Media Lab, I worked on the design, development, and evaluation of Organic User Interfaces. This work contributed to publications including ReFlex, a flexible smartphone with haptic feedback.
