Jose Monsalve

I’m an Art Director and multidisciplinary designer with 10+ years of experience across brand, campaigns, product design, web, motion, photo/video production, and creative operations. Most recently, I spent six years at a small Orlando agency where I led a 7-person creative team and worked with brands including Disney, Universal, ESPN, and Coca-Cola, while still staying hands-on with the work.

I’ve led projects from early concept through final delivery, directed photo and video productions, built Figma design systems and digital products, managed client relationships, and helped build the workflows and systems behind the creative team itself. I’m happiest somewhere between the big idea and all the weird little problems required to actually make it happen.

Outside of work, I’m a huge tabletop and TTRPG person, a film photography nerd, and the kind of person who has a spreadsheet for his board game collection. I’m currently looking for my next challenge, especially with teams in technology, gaming, entertainment, or other spaces where I can combine creative leadership with actually making the work.
