I’m an Early Literacy Tutor focused on helping students build strong reading skills through phonics, blending, and comprehension checks. I’ve completed mandated reporter and vector training, and I’m currently attending remote sessions while supporting professional development with a learning coach.
In my Title I Reading intervention role, I supported 5-7 small groups with reading, writing, speaking, and listening structures across grades first through fifth. I also progress monitored students using comprehension checks for the reading center, and I helped with school events by preparing additional support for assemblies and activities.
Earlier experience includes instructional aide support (push-ins, preparing worksheets/packets, and assisting students across classrooms) and classroom support through tutoring and team roles. Across my work, I bring strong classroom management, lesson and activity support, and communication skills to help students understand modeling and strategies—whether in-person or online.
