I’m looking for a role where I can modernize enterprise systems with Java, microservices, and event-driven architecture—owning architecture decisions, cloud migrations, and delivery improvements in regulated, high-impact domains.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 20 years delivering enterprise solutions across banking, government IT, and Swiss National marketing tech. I specialize in Java, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud migrations, and I enjoy diving deep into new technologies.

Since 2019, I’ve been embedded in client teams across regulated industries, including BIT / DAZIT (Bundesamt für Informatik) where I led greenfield development of the HVC system by replacing a legacy monolith with a microservices and event-driven architecture. I also led the cloud migration from Cloud Foundry to AWS using Terraform, improving scalability and deployment reliability, and modernized source control and CI/CD from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitHub/GitHub Actions.

Earlier work includes integrating Flowable (BPM/CMMN) into Credit Suisse with a secure, production-ready backend and React-based frontend, and delivering a zero-downtime Java platform migration for Swissgrid AG (Oracle JDK 8 to OpenJDK 11) to modernize the application stack. I’m fluent in DE · EN · ES and bring a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset from roles spanning software engineering, programming leadership, and Scrum Master responsibilities.
