What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can blend policy, legal analysis, and data-driven strategy to deliver real outcomes—partnering with stakeholders and translating research into legislation, programs, and measurable public impact.

I’m a Public Affairs Manager combining legal training, policy research, and strategic stakeholder coordination to drive measurable outcomes. With a Juris Doctor (May 2023) and Alabama State Bar active/good standing, I approach each challenge with legal rigor and a solutions-first mindset.

In my current role, I supported the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles during the 2026 legislative session by advancing budget and policy priorities, contributing to the successful allocation of $99.7M in FY27 funding and supplemental resources for recovery services and facility improvements. I also assisted with the passage of key legislation (SB 254, HB 282), and helped develop statewide reentry strategies aimed at reducing recidivism through data-driven and collaborative approaches.

Previously, I served as an Administrative/Legal Analyst to Mayor Steven Reed (March 2024–October 2025), restructuring bylaws for the African American Mayors Association, drafting memorandums for City Council presentations, and leading community outreach to pastors, youth pastors, and community leaders. Earlier, as a Law Clerk at Holford Gilliland Hitson Stevens Tuley Savarese & Howard P.C., I handled depositions, research for insurance defense law, drafted motions to dismiss, and supported litigation through jury trials and litigation summaries, while my Product Analyst experience at Alfa Insurance sharpened my business intelligence reporting, Excel-based metrics work, and process-flow planning.
