What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a planning or policy-focused role where I can use legislative research, GIS-informed thinking, and public engagement to shape affordable housing and transportation initiatives. I want to help build stronger, connected communities with practical, data-driven recommendations.

I’m an aspiring Community and Urban Planner with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. I bring experience researching affordable housing, state legislatures, data centers/clean energy, and urban development policies—always tying analysis back to real community outcomes.

In my government relations work, I supported teams with public engagement research and legislative monitoring that informed long-term affordable housing planning and development decisions. I conducted workforce and employment studies across targeted Georgia and Florida MSAs and tracked housing, zoning, and economic incentives through committee discussions to keep priorities aligned with changing state policy.

I’ve also built strong research and communication habits through legislative research roles, including following General Assembly sessions and preparing short write-ups to inform clients “in real time.” I’ve worked with legislative tracking tools, maintained internal reference lists of state lawmakers, and supported research on energy and environmental topics such as natural gas, offshore wind development, fossil fuels, and data-center expansion.

Now I’m pursuing a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Georgia in Fall 2026. I’m eager to contribute to community and transportation initiatives that build stronger, connected communities—bringing a policy-first mindset, critical and analytical thinking, and clear technical writing to projects where strategy and impact have to match.
