Develop and execute annual NYC/NYS policy and budget advocacy plan with external lobbyists and senior leadership. Liaise with government officials, staff, and community stakeholders representing Carnegie Hall’s interests and priorities. Supervise and support a department of four full-time staff members, aiding in developing team strategy and team budget.

Supported Community Board Advisor in outreach, organizing, and hosting capacity building workshops for Community Boards. Established and maintained partnerships with external partners such as other City agencies, consulates, and civic organizations. Assisted in the project management and development of the citywide Participatory Budgeting program, “The People’s Money”.

Collaborated with scholars on research examining academic and policy efforts related to the practical application of reparations. Composed, edited, and fact-checked public reports detailing AARN’s policy, research, and advocacy efforts toward reparations. Edited website and blog copy, provided feedback on promotional materials, and performed other duties as requested.

Taught evidence-based policy writing, analysis, and advocacy and cultivated students’ ability to navigate legislative spaces. Assisted in developing policy evaluation case studies in multiple policy areas including economic policy and human rights. Evaluated and provided substantive feedback on written assignments such as policy memos, policy analysis, and white papers.

Coordinated 20+ concurrent cases on a fast-paced, international team of over 50 coworkers with use of record-keeping software. Monitored and compiled litigation outcomes of strategic importance to practice group operations using legal research databases. Advocated practice group preferences successfully in internal policy dialogue with firm executives, developed interim policies.

Trained student fundraisers in persuasion and use of targeted scripts to improve individual callers’ performance metrics. Monitored and analyzed center performance at end of shift to determine areas of growth and identify new target KPIs. Ensured efficient and productive communications between all facets Binghamton Fund telephone fundraising program.

Raised approximately $100,000 in individual gifts to The Binghamton Fund in telephone fundraising campaign over two years. Fundraised within leadership giving population with high success rate, often leading call center in total gifts and other KPIs. Lead and mentored dedicated team within call center, leading to their increased success in fundraising for Binghamton Fund.

Completed a Master's degree with a specialization in Technology, Media and Communications. Focused on Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy.

Earned a Bachelor's degree from Harpur College of Arts and Sciences. Majored in both History and Political Science.
