What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build audience-focused journalism and data products, combining Spanish-language reporting, research, visualization, and web development to make complex information useful for non-expert users.

I've produced Spanish-language journalism at Noticias WUFT across radio, web, social media, and television, co-hosting 30+ weekly news episodes and conducting 20+ in-depth interviews.

As a Graduate Assistant and Radio Editor, I edited 80+ scripts, improved weekly rundown preparation time by 50%, and built a multi-sheet content management system for 20+ monthly pieces. I also developed newsroom growth recommendations and trained a team of 10+ to use AI-assisted techniques to find Spanish-speaking experts.

I'm completing master's degrees in Information Systems and Operations Management and Mass Communication at the University of Florida. For Florida Money Watch, I'm scraping and visualizing 3M+ transactions from 97% of Florida counties while designing for non-expert data users.
