I’m a Master’s graduate with a background in research, writing, fact-checking, and proofreading, and I’m eager to grow in the field of editing. Through my work in special collections, I focused on careful stewardship of historical materials from first assessment through in-depth description, allowing me to complete detail-oriented work.
At Stanford Libraries (Special Collections), I worked as a Manuscript Description Assistant, transcribing and describing medieval manuscripts—especially Latin liturgical works. I bring strong attention to detail and a research-oriented mindset to ensure records are accurate, consistent, and useful for discovery.
Before that, I developed my data handling foundation through a Data Entry role at Design Line Cabinets, where I collected, entered, and organized financial and logistical data in databases, updated existing records, and created and maintained data entry forms. My experience as a freelance Copy Editor allowed me to hone skills with both corporate and creative work, proofreading and editing anything from product descriptions to novels.
