Jaime Mojica

I'm a fourth-year Computer Engineering student at Eskişehir Technical University building machine learning models and reproducible deployment workflows. My work spans data preprocessing, training, hyperparameter optimization, evaluation, and containerized delivery.

I designed a PyTorch 1D-CNN for classifying Neanderthal and Denisovan genomic sequences, reaching 77% accuracy on short sequences. I integrated Optuna, custom Focal Loss, and an LR Range Test into an experimentation and training pipeline.

I've also built a modular disease-classification pipeline, a Python reporting tool for dataset analysis, and a Docker-deployed diet planner using Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL. I'm seeking an internship or junior opportunity where I can help move models from notebooks into reliable, production-style pipelines.
